Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to mark the centennial of the company. Made from Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a fluttering 'B' paperweight, a set keys as well as a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre imagery.

The Bentley Mulsanne Key features two buttons one of which opens the trunk, and the second which starts the vehicle. It also has a switch to activate the parking break. Each key takes two days to create. The key is cut by hand, shaped, stitched and sealed, then polished to create a high-end result. It is strong, compact, and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Secure-A-Key is also available to protect against keyless entry theft. This device is placed inside the remote control fob and disables it when the key has not been used for a short period of time. It blocks thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that will allow the key to be opened and start the vehicle.

The resulting configuration is stored on individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys, which are presented to guests in a custom-made key case.
